THE WOODS

The woods is a collection built by secondhand textiles found in the city, for people who want to get closer to the wild. It is an exploration of life we don’t understand. I am inspired by the need to touch grass, the magic of nature, and the contrast of outdoor apparel to the outdoors. We have a need to create a protective barrier between us and the elements in order to spend time in the woods. The clothes we wear in the woods protect us, carry our goods, help us blend in, and make us stand out. To me, the woods are mostly trees and mystery. How do you feel when submerged in the woods?

All of the looks in this collection are made from deadstock fabrics, ethically sourced natural fibers, upcycled textiles and clothing, and scraps from the collection.
